Some recurring themes/vibes in Bear Blog's Discover feed
Over the months/years, I have had a personal observation that there are some recurring themes/"vibes" to the posts in Bear Blog's Discover > Trending feed. (NOTE: I said "some" of the recurring themes. Not all.)
I just wanted to stay with them for a while and see what words/phrases/themes came up. The following came up:
- exasperation
- dejected outpours
- tugging at identity shards
- shouting into the void
- existential screamings
- sounding smart and clinical
- some gentler reflections
--
- Techno-skepticism
- Aggressive vulnerability
- Intellectual weariness - while still feeling compelled to analyze them
- Tight grip over things and thoughts.
- Wanting to exert control over the world or individual personal worlds
--
people trying to feel marginalized parts of themselves through textuality (hey, this includes me writing this post. ha!)
people having beautiful reflections about life or talking about something good they see/saw in the world.
