Projector evenings - pretend play
There will be a small bunch of people. Say 4-7. We would be gathered in a living room that lets in quite a bit of evening night.
There will be a projector set up in the room, projecting onto the light beige wall. Some days it might be the old slide projector but today it’s a regular digital projector connected to a laptop. Some of the people will come up, choose the slide show they made and move through the slides, sometimes talking during the slides, like captions or notes about the images.
It’s mostly images, full screen images that are shown. Simple, lightweight images. Not loaded with visual or art theories. There is no pressure to arrange the slide show to any particular theme or subject. It’s whatever it is.
Sometimes a single image is let to linger for a long while. And you don’t necessarily need to stand up and do the slide show. You can just be lounging, half-lying down on the couch. The ones watching/being - they aren’t necessarily sitting up straight either. You could be moving about in the room a bit, maybe nestling yourself in a corner leaning on the walls, half-lying on the sofa, looking out through the window for a while.
Some days or some times there might be some music played through two small Sony bluetooth speakers paired in stereo mode. One of them is the light grey-whitish colour, the other is the cosmic orange colour.
